    • Since we didn't get to take the quiz today in class, dont forget to take your vocabulary quiz on Engrade. This quiz is on the honor system, no notes and no other aids. Go into your Engrade, click on English I, on the left hand side there will be a menu that you can expand further- do that and click on "quizzes" and it will pop up for you.
    • Complete Ishmael book 7 (pg. 70 ebook) and create questions for our socratic seminar Wednesday
    • On Google drive, in your Ishmael folder, create a document called "Socratic seminar questions." Please write the following types of questions (4 total required)

  • Homework: Parts of speech practice worksheet, Ishmael Book 4 and Book 5 chapters 1-3 (through pg. 49) ebook) and accompanying reading log, Fever Dream revisions
    • Practice worksheet: determine the part of speech for each word and highlight each part of speech a different color (noun- yellow, verb- green, etc)

  • Start up: Pull up your Ishmael reading log as it currently stands (quiz starts 5 minutes after class starts so don't delay!)
  • Quiz: Ishmael through book 2
    • Decide on ONE thing that you would like me to look at in your paper. (You may look at the sample list of questions on the writing strategies page for ideas).
    • After you are finished with your quiz, put your name on the board and I will call you up individually to discuss your papers.
    • Make revisions/corrections to paper
